A triumphant return to Canada in the summer of 2006 saw Valle Son release their second CD during a two-month tour across the land with performances at some premiere music festivals. The band was last in Canada in 2003 and made a big splash in North America with a six-month tour. This album was recorded with original band members in the summer of 2003 and we have held their release until this time as the band lineup has changed.
Valle Son now includes a fantastic female singer, Danaisy Montesino; bass player and new band arranger Braidis Labrado; and flute/sax player Emilio Reyes. The stage dynamic is much more powerful and fun with Danaisy able to play off of Lazaro's stellar vocal stylings and the two of them perform dances together. No se tire compay features original songwriting of tres guitar player Pedro Gonzalez, and was all arranged by the late Livan Hernandez Sanchez. There are a few cover tunes all flavoured with the unique instrumentation of Valle Son.
